There are 1.2 million Americans employed with the business aviation industry. Every year, this industry generates $150 billion in economic activity. There were 11,261 private jets registered in the United States alone by 2011. This points to how the United States accounts for 49.7% of the private jet market, with Europe coming in second at 20.8%.
